Unable to Access Catalogue? - Post ID...
I have now got a website up and running, but the links work fine in the preview (I have stayed with the manual and left all my pages called the default name i.e. page1, page2. I'll deal with that later). However, when I try and publish, I get a message about files that I have deleted from the site, and do I want to delete them from the server, if I click yes or no, I get the same answer 'Unable to access the catalog, you should try and connect later). I got this last night too. What can be wrong? I have all the stuff ready to go now and can't seem to upload it!
Hi,
I have the same problem as I am using XP SP3 with the latest build of VSD.
The only thing I can suggest right now is to try and see if you can connect using an external ftp like the free ftp coffeecup provides (if you don't have one) and see if your can connect. If you can then try using that to upload all the contents in your website folder to your server. It's basically the samething except your not using the internal ftp in VSD. Also put in a support ticket and see what CC has to say. here's how you can upload with Direct ftp.
