I revamped my website and also wiped out the existing files with Ipowerweb because I had "cross contamination from old versions. I tried to publish the site, but it's not working. (No page found) yet, the process seems to be going smoothly. The Test connection is ok, it says it has published successfully and Ipowerweb is showing the files are there. Any idea what the problem is? My site is www.barbmotivates.com.

Thanks!

Hey there!

Sorry you are having difficulties. It sounds like your files have gone out of sync. Here is what I would like you to do.

1. Go to the Publish Menu and select FTP Account Settings and select your FTP Account.

2. Verify that all information is correct and the Remote Folder path is not empty. Typically you would enter in a / or /public_html here but you need to confirm with your hosting provider what the correct path is. IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT THIS PATH IS CORRECT.

3. Go to the Publish Menu and select Choose a Publishing Destination and select your FTP Account and then click Save.

4. Finally, go to the Publish Menu and select Re-Sync Website.

With any luck, everything should be back to normal.

Scott,
With all due respect, you are answering everybody the same answer. Have more respect, you are the VP for cryingout loud!!
My issues with new site not uploading at Ipower are not resolved. Your one size fits all approach is not cutting it..I have tried everyting you suggested.
Firewall is check
FTP settings check
Passive Mode check
Path is correct...Ipower confirms

Pictures are still not uploading and everytime i try to publish i am getting the same 3 bullets error message..Your phone line is always busy helping other customers..
I think something is not right with the VSD software. The program is not collecting the data correctly. When I checked the file manager on IPower site I saw that bunch of files were missing already.. So the VSD is not doing what it is designed to..

Wow, and you tell Scott to have respect? *shakes head*

Truly you need to open a support ticket and get abused some more I think lol. I saw absolutely nothing wrong with what Scott posted and that's usually the problem. There are a lot of reasons that can happen and many have nothing to do with the software.

If you've already tried the above suggestion, and other suggestions since I'll assume with your one single post that you must be searching the forums for help as you've never asked for it. If you have tried them all, then open a support ticket, the forums here are user to user so when Scott or any other staff member does come in here it's because they are taking time from their normal jobs or even their own free time to do so.

So... YOU have some respect since you've never asked for help before and at least ask for it before you totally blow off people like that. Truly that is not conducive to getting assistance on these forums.

Atilla great name are you related somewhere in the past.

Firstly if you have a problem a link to what you are experiencing helps. A problem can be right there in front of you and it can be most frustrating.
Fact, VSD is used by 100's perhaps 1000's of individuals and most problems are resolved in these forums.

Now start over, state your problem exactly and give us a chance to really help. Be prepared to accept you could be wrong and you will gain from that acceptance.

Other than Scott who is a real softy we are all volunteers who use and find CC's software to our liking that much so that we volunteer our time to help others and more to the point get help in return. No one knows everything not even the mighty VIP of development.

So take a different tack, it is not the answer that is important it is how you ask the question. There are no stupid questions but sometimes the answers can be a bit on the nose.

So Atilla me old shiner give it another go, start fresh, Welcome to our forum, how can we help you. Put the attitude back in the box and join our happy helpful band.

Here's the same answer I give users so I apologize now.
Make sure you didn't move or delete any of the images from their original location on your pc that you browsed to when you added them to your page using the image tool. Place all content you want added to your site inside a dedicated folder on your pc before you add it and leave it there. Then when you want to use that awesome photo of your pet browse to the dedicated folder where you copied it to.
Scott I didn't know you had a night job.
