Selected picture is not a valid...

I've just installed the upgrade to VSD and had the 96dpi notification, but mostly it worked fine. On one page I have 3 small .bmp images and when it gets to the first one it displays the 'selected picture is not a valid picture' error message. I just hit the x and closed the error box and it went through the same thing for the other 2 bitmaps.

I'm guessing VSD can no longer handle bitmaps? The thing is, when I previewed with the bitmaps in place, it displayed 3 images, 2 of them the correct bitmaps, but the third was a copy of the first and it should have been completely different.

I'm a little concerned, not that it can't handle bitmaps, but that it replaced content in a random manner, so I thought I'd better report it.

The only other feedback I've got so far is that my pagelist is no longer in alphabetical order and I can't find anything :P

You should only use png, gif or jpg for any images on your website. I would suggest you replace all of those with a more standard web format. They will still work in VSD but we like to inform you that it is a big NO NO! I will check into that error tomorrow to make sure it is working right.

In version 7 you can now also organize your pages in any order you like. You can access this new option in the menu system under "organize pages".

I wasn't aware I wasn't supposed to use bitmaps - I'll fix it right now. Thanks.

Great to hear I can change the page organisation too - I doubt I'd gotten used to the new default.

I can see I'm going to be playing all night checking what's different. The new 'buttonize' feature looks exciting :P

I'm off to play around some more, thanks for a great upgrade!
