Rounding edges? - Post ID 178802

Maybe VSD gets confused when PNGs and JPEGs are combined in Firestarter and just saves the images as JPEGs.

Is it possible to put a layer over the show? For example... make a 'frame' in the background color with a rounded rectangle opening, then place this over the show?

In case this might be useful...
Here's a good (free) image editing/graphics program:

That's an awful site, Paintbrush. It tells me to download all sorts of other things, but not that getpaint you mentioned...

Oh come on Inger, it's not THAT bad!!! ;)
The link for downloading the Paint.NET is in the upper right-hand corner. Take a look at the attached screenshot...
At first glance, it looks pretty impressive for a freebie. Thanks for the suggestion, paintbrush! :)

Well, I found the download link eventually, but the link in the right upper corner takes you on another round trip where the word 'Download' is sprining into your face, but it is for downloading something else.

Please allow me to hate such sites! ;)

Permission granted! - And I'll join you in that sentiment! :D
But still..., Paint.NET looks pretty good, once you get past the download site...

I put paint.net on an older laptop a few years ago and found it to be the next best thing to Photoshop for me. I have Xara Designer Pro and Gimp on there as well, but paint.net is the best for simple, quick image editing (it has levels, curves, layers...). Maybe the U.S. site is different from what you see Inger?, I just see a page with system requirements, language choice and a big download now button. There are also several plug-ins available as with many open-source projects where developers can contribute to them. Anyway...

When using either PNGs or GIFs within VSD, they have to be inserted from the original file for each corner rather than inserting one and copying it – in which case, VSD will save them as JPEGs.

Anyone that uses Firefox, check out the addon called Pixlr Grabber, very very cool online image editor that is dang near as powerful as any other editor and gives you right click edit capabilities for images you find on the web, very slick!

I think I must be icredibly stupid, I still can't get this to work! My screen looks exactly the same, but after publishing, the movie stays the same. I'm completely befuddled!
