I cannot get my Visual Site Designer pages/site to publish to my Host Excellence hosted website. The Host Excellence people suggested I use Filezilla, but when I drag and drop a .vnu file to my Host Excellence server, nothing happens. Is there a way to change .vnu files to .html files and use Filezilla? Any other suggestions for getting VSD to publish my site?

I hate to ask the obvious BUT you have free hosting on SDRIVE , why not use that ?

And if your inbuilt FTP in VSD wont upload it, theres no reason to think an outside FTP will do any better, to contrary better to use inbuilt FTP as it overrides anything previously uploaded in any other way, so best to stick to one option only.

Viv For experiment I tried copying the whole preview folder and the site worked well online. I was having a problem with the inbuilt ftp at the time (My fault wrong settings) so I looked for another method.

I would guess that you have the ftp settings wrong Michael. Viv is right about any other ftp program. In fact download Free ftp and try your settings there till you get a connection then transfer those settings to VSD. If you have trouble your host will give you the right settings for your site. They will be the same for any ftp program
