Need some serious help - Post ID 106757
I have a very large issue with my webpage and it a little odd to explain. The problem is the text moving around based on the size of a window best way to describe it is to have you see it in action. http://starviewkennels.com/PuppiesAvailable.html
Click on the link and take your browser windows and resize it from big to small and watch the text as this happens the text changes format?? i guess it what it does. I do not know how to fix this. It really odd as some people go to my webpage and it just all messed up and text is not where it is on the program.
Please any help would be greatfull. and please I'm not very technical and don't know much code other then adding a tracker.
Thanks in advance

Hi Mary,
Well what I would suggest won't be what you would want to read, but it is said that clients, customers, prefer to scroll a page up and down not left or right, so mysuggestion would have you first make your pages 900X6000 2000 whatever you choose then see how it goes from there. I would also make the images a tad smaller, not for loading they work fine, but a couple are pixelated so just the thumbnails.which is why the easiest thing to do would be to put in a support ticket and see what the guru's would recommend.
Nice website though I have to say. Sorry I couldn't be any help.

Thanks for the info I will try that but is their an option i can choose that will stop the text from changing like that as a temp fix until i can fix the problem?
Hiya Mary,
I am not 100% sure here, but I think part of your problem might be that you don't have a fixed width for your tables. I'm not big with VSD so I dunno how you'd work that, but I'm pretty sure that's what is causing it to resize on you.

I agree with Jo Ann I think that is the problem as well.

How was the text entered into the page? I believe if you draw out specific text boxes in VSD and enter the text into those the positioning will remain fixed even when the page is made smaller. I just tested it on one of my old VSD sites and that's how it behaved, the text didn't float at all.

You have page centering turned off.
Hit page properties at the top of the screen and in the Dimensions Section place a check mark in the Centered Check box and then try your page out.
VSD does not like Multiple text boxes with the Center page property off.
Can see this if you bring up a Theme and then uncheck the box. Then re size the screen width.
