I will try and put my 2 cents in. Your sub domain appears to be
http://www.simplesites.billhartmann.com/
Now what we believe is that you have uploaded your images to the wrong folder on your server
The browser is looking for this image
http://www.simplesites.billhartmann.com … TREES2.gif
This is the folder as Viv said where your images are
http://www.billhartmann.com/files/TREES2.gif Notice that they are not in your subdomain folder.
Think of the folders on your server as the same as on your computer. when you create a subdomain it is like creating a new folder on your computer, but when you refer to it on a server treat it as your main domain when uploading files. Make sure all images and files used are available in the subdomain folder.
If you paste the highlighted URL in a browser you will see an image you referenced, notice it is in your main domain.
This is what Viv was pointing out. One trick I use if an image does not display is, I right click on it and choose to display in a seperate tab the URL shows me where the browser is looking. You could also right click and view source only the other shows the mistake easier.
