Thanks Paintbrush, I did try it after your suggestion last time. But, actually I couldn't, so I gave up. The installation errored - "Fatal error - installation terminated" kinda thing. Just tried it again, and the same happens. Of interest though, it seems to be fine in IE. Its Chrome that it seems to have a problem with. In Firefox, its fine. Website is at www.jfoxon.co.uk. Guidance much appreciated!

Hiya jfp,

Can you post a screenshot of what it "should" look like when published? If you have it in a preview that is, not sure if you do so if so that would help. I have it open in Chrome and I see no issues so far.

I would like to comment on the inconvenience of how you have the galleries setup wtih no navigation possible on the page, hope you do intend to add someway other than the back button for people to navigate from those pages, as to be honest those galleries (although cool at first) are quickly annoying lol.

It looks fine to me (latest Firefox version). If it still looks wonky to you jfp, have you cleared your browser cache?
I have to agree with Jo Ann about the galleries. It's good to have clear navigation on all pages. Also, the special effect is distracting – let your photography (rather than the special effects) be the main attraction :)
Make it as easy as possible for viewers to maneuver through your pages and galleries so they won't get frustrated and move on to someone else's site.

There is only one truth Garbage in equals Garbage out. Programs are seldom the problem. They are designed to do what people tell them to do. Over the years I have found in over 90% of the time if I had a problem it was mine.

I know that this does not fix your problem but it is the truth, a hard one to accept but one a lot of tantrums taught me and I offer that truth to you.

Hi all thanks for yr comments especially re the web galleries. Sadly its an issue with the Tiltviewer plugin in Lightroom that you cant put a back link on the page. Although you can do so on the reverse of the images, which I will now do. So thanks for yr feedback, I will listen. Thanks prism, agree re gigo, actually more like 99% of the time. Equally think that software can be built with ease of use in mind, or not, and sadly have to put VSD in the latter category. But thanks for yr help, must say how useful these forums are for the 'simpler' user like me. Cheers

Can these galleries be loaded by way of an IFrame? I've used a (not Coffee Cup) album maker here:
http://maryloubarrow.com/gallery.html
I wanted to keep the look of the site (and menus) on all pages, so the gallery is in an IFrame within the page.
Eric (Rolly) has a "how-to" here, in case you're not familiar with IFrames:
