lost vnu file can't open site in vsd...

something has happened and I am unable to open a site on my computer that I have been working on in vsd, I have followed the instructions that vsd provides for going to back up and to the server. There does not appear to be anything there.
It was in the early stages of testing so not a lot has been lost but it is still quite frustrating to say the least. I have found all the backup stuff for all the other projects I have done in VSD so I don't really know what to do.

any suggestions appreciated

Hi Tom,

If you had given your site a name, and if you had saved it, try searching for that name with .vnu after it using the search feature of your operating system - Windows, Linux, Mac etc.

If that doesn't find it for you, maybe you hadn't saved it and exited VSD without confirming to save it.

Other than that, I can't think of anything else that might be going on.

I had this happen on an older version of VSD. Are you up to date?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Good thinking Eric!

Tom,

Check here ( https://www.coffeecup.com/help/myproducts/ ) to see if you need to download an updated version of VSD. The current release is 7.0. Build 26.

You can check your version within the software by going to Help->About on the menu bar.

Well don't I have egg on my face this morning. After spending well over an hour last night looking for the VNU file I gave up and started this thread. Imagine by chagrin this morning when I booted up the computer and without even thinking about it opened the site up on my computer.

Surprise, surprise the site was not a VSD site it was my first attempt at a responsive site and when I went to open it yesterday, after being away from it for a while, I automatically went to VSD when I should have gone to HTML editor instead. Sorry for the confusion.

Mea culpa, mea culpa, mea maxima culpa.
