The domain name http://fc7777.coffeecup.com/ remains the same, but I can use it for testing any number of websites. The domain name is not part of the working of a website, but rather the place where the website files happen to be put. Nearly all the files of the website http://www.clparker.com used to reside at http://fc7777.coffeecup.com/ as previously did the files of an older version of http://www.clparker.com.
The above is, of course, subject to using relative addressing, rather than absolute addressing, within the website. There is an article about such addressing here.
