On the top of a page I've put the name of an article that people should be able to download. But when I try to make a link to the article the create link box is briefly checked and then goes blank. When I try to put an entry in the URL it wipes it out and only leaves it with http:
My other links seem to work ok.
???? What should I do? ???
link to file doesn't work - Post ID...
If the article is located on your pc then select the link option then "Document". You'll then be able to browse to the documents location on your pc. When you publish your site VSD will upload it for you so users can download it.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I have had that problem. To make it bullet proof use the add files to let VSD upload it and then make a link ie:- http://yourdomain/file.doc. I have it happen when I link to pdf's I even link as a document and browse to the location but often it fails to upload and link correctly. So now I make sure the document is in the root of the domain and put a simple link to it ie:- file.doc or the full path as I showed.
I have no problems with using the code editor only I like the ease of using VSD.
