Probably a setting, but I can't find it.
Each time I publish, VSD saves a new version to my computer. I used to use this and I don't remember it doing that. In the past, it seemed that when I published, it just updated the saved version on my computer.

Now, every time I go to open website, there are more and more versions of my site showing up in the file. I know that I can just go to the latest one, but it seems strange that this is happening. Any light that can be shed is appreciated.

Thanks

Does it do this when you click the save button at the top of VSD?:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

No

It does this when I publish. It goes through all of the normal looking process of building on website, connecting, so on

But, each time I open the site, it saves each time. This saves a new version of the site each time as it's own version. It doesn't seem to over-write the site. Right now I have a list of approximately fifteen versions of my site. If I click on the first one, it shows my original version with no updates. The one right below it is the first update, and so on

I can click the bottom one, but once again, my other site does not do this. It just replaces the site version each time I publish.

What kind of file are you clicking on to open your site? Try doing a save as to a new location like My Documents/ Mynewsite/ to see what you get. You should get a new vnu file to click on to open the site.:)

when I click to open the website with vsd, it gives me an option with about 20 listings of my website. It saves a new version every time I publish instead of over-writing what I already have.

Are you looking at the backup directory by any chance?
