Internal links no longer work - Post...
Anyone help me out as this is very time sensitive (it's my course website and they have a test tomorrow). Anyway, the articles and powerpoint files no longer link up. Instead, regardless of any link action I try, it changes on preview and/or publish to either /index or /self-reference to page. What's going on? [joshredford.com].
Working on the problem, give me a few.

Get the backups restored. And re-download your VNU file.
Visual Site Designer version 6.0 and higher automatically saves a time- and date-stamped copy of the VNU file to your server whenever you upload your website files. To access these files, use an FTP client (such as Direct FTP) to connect to your server and download the desired version of the VNU to your computer. You can then open and edit it normally.

I have noticed on numerous occasions when editing in VSD that when you get the window open to select links , dependant on what order you do things when you select TARGET and (ie) same frame self, at the same time your previously selected PAGE reverts back to ( HOME ) index page.
if however you select TARGET FIRST and then PAGE LAST it works every time ......
Hope i have made sense, i should report this to CC but i keep forgetting
SCOTT have it checked out please

That didn't work, but I'm redoing the links *groan*. I think another possible way to avoid this besides the previous suggestion is to close the link window in between each link. I was highlighting one, linking it, highlighting next, linking it, and so on. It worked, but I think that may have been a ticking time bomb waiting to chain react.
I have reported this, and its been confirmed as an anticipated repair in next update.
Just incase your having to do tabs categories etc that repeat on every page, you can select them all from 1 page by holding down the shift key, paste onto the other pages all in one hit. They will position perfectly from one page to another (unlike the down and to right shifting intentionally designed to happen when pasted on same page)
You can also delete all in 1 go by doing the same thing, hold down shift key
