Is it possible to insert php code to the very top of a php page? And can a web page have a php extension in VSD?

Since VSD creates HTML pages, I doubt PHP files would work. If they do work, you would use the HTML tool to add the line/lines of php code.

modify the server to parse .html as php using the .htaccess file or by adding a handler to apache.
