I'm not able to upload my website and it is drastically affecting my business. I have never had problems before and now I have switched to a new computer. I talked to my hosting site and all is okay on their end. All I get from Coffee Cup when I test it is that the password is incorrect but I checked it and it's not. my site is www.cooldoggroomingstudio.com. I turned off the firewall, still nothing. I'm getting frantic, please help!

Hi Sarah,
Make sure you don't have any spaces in the password. At the end maybe.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Sarah,

Please submit a support ticket so that Support may take a look at your issue.

Hi Sarah,

I might be able to help you, but doing so you'll have to trust me. I ask you to give me the FTP account settings you use in VSD so I can test these in another FTP software. And I ask you to give me the FTP settings given to you by your service provider (i.e. an IP address -something like '82.24.126.168', always four blocks separated by three dots- or a name -something like 'ftp.serviceprovider.com'- and your password, so I can compare the two settings.

Yes, that's a lot of trust, isn't it? Of course I promise you to do nothing wrong. And after I tested everything (and maybe finding the cause of your problem), you'll have to change the password to be safe again.

You can't write these things here, but you can send them to jvhulst@xs4all.nl . Or you might write here that this is a ridiculous thing to do...:)

Success, John

No offense John, please don't take this negatively to you as it's not anything against you at all.

Having said that, Sarah, put in a support ticket and let the CC team do exactly what John is talking about or whatever it is they need to do. John's been around a long time, and he's most likely trustworthy, but it's always better to deal with the software developers when you're dealing with your account information. Good luck and let us know if it gets resolved :)
