How to import CSS menu into VSD -...

Just cant seem to do it... previously I created a DHTML menu in html editor, then imported into VSD and it's worked great for years. Now that it's the "css menu" builder, it looks great in the html editor but when I import to VSD, it does not work properly.. actually it does not work at all... it just shows the links as static, html text, and not the menu I created.

I tried to research the forums first but couldn't find an answer that my tiny man brain could understand...

Could you let us see a url so that we can have a better look at where the problem lies. It usually helps us to be able to take a peek at your code to see what might be wrong.

CoffeeCup CSS menu in VSD

Hi Eric, I used you information to try and add a CSS Menu (created in HTML Editor) to my VSD (V7.0 Build 24) pages. First time using the HTML Editor and also a first for CSS so it has been a struggle. I was OK until i got to step #4.

"Add a folder to the Root of VSD and name it css. Now browse to where you saved your menu in the editor and look in the css folder and select menu-menu.css if you left the default name".

I tried to use the 'Add Files' to add the 'css' folder and it wont let me add any folder under the 'Root'. It seems to accept it when i use 'Add a Folder' but when i go back and look, its not there. I have no problem adding an indiviudal file.

Also, i am assuming that once i add the css folder, i need to copy the menu-menu.css into the css folder?

Thanks for any help

For the folder to stay you add it then add at least one file to the folder right away. If you close the add files window before adding files to your new folder VSD will not retain the folder because it's empty.:)

I have been using the DHTML menu builder. It puts a lot of code in the page but there is only one entry in the html box. I will try the css menu builder as well but both seem to give simular results. The DHTML has the advantage as it can be centered.

I did not see a control only px left, I do not mean edit the code. I found that with one entry I could use it right out of the box. The CSS menu builder I tried was part of the HTML editor
