For the first time I tried to view in IE I normally use Chrome well! Shock Horror. There I was happy as a Pig in ^*$@# and I tried my site in IE. well now I am all of a dither, I can tell you, that ain't pretty to watch. My ego has been delivered a savage blow. So I am asking the good people here.
what is
Best Font
Best Page size
Best whatever

Now I wonder what display other browsers give.

I was curious why I had the choice to add extra browsers to the preview choice. Now I know.

Prism, Try removing one of the </div> right below your snow script.:)

Thanks for input. I just assumed what looked good on one was the same for all. I think web safe fonts and colours are the first on the list.

I might dump the snow script. That was more a test to see how well VSD presented that. I have yet to slot in flash I already tried a refresh as a meta instruction. Have to see if I can iron in some php to display random amount of images stored in a folder. That will be for the Art Site.

I will start comparing between Chrome, Firefox, Opera and IE. I should put that much effort into it. I will post if I find a combination that works over all browsers.

To Scott
Nothing wrong with VSD it is my use of it. But you asked http://inkmon.org It was more colourful but I am toning it down and trying different layouts. It is now part of a learning curve of VSD Thanks to which it is so easy to publish my changes.

I cannot help it if I am a lousy designer but my paintings ain't bad

So far Chrome and Opera give similar results and IE and Firefox are similar. So I shall compare Chrome and IE then after it is finished run it by the other two. Chrome is the closest to the display in VSD.

However I believe IE has the most users so like it or not IE is the target. So I will concentrate to see what works best in IE. And I thought life would be easier. Am I ever going to be a know it all.

OK Times New Roman appears to be the font that is displayed similar on all. Changing text now.
