Creating Drop Down Menu/Pages - Post...

I created a basic website for my nonprofit a while ago. As the work the nonprofit does expands, I would like to redo my website and instead of the basic buttons that I used for pages, I would like to have drop down menus for each category and multiple pages for each. Can I do that with VSD?

I have done this using lists created at http://css.maxdesign.com.au/listamatic/ and using the add html tool in VSD.

Another way to go is use the updated CC HTML Editor menu designer feature to create your multi level menu and using the html add tool to insert into VSD remember to put the CSS code in the header and the html in the body.

Where in VSD does the HTML code for the menu go?

Hi Devorah, Place the code for the menu into the body html of a html box using the html tool in VSD.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

Place the HTML box on you web page where you would like the menu to appear. Preview and adjust as necessary.:)

Thanks. I guess that should have been obvious but some of us newbies are real wet behind the ears about this sort of thing.

No problem. It's takes a little while to get use to the terminology and VSD interface, but after you build your first couple of pages things won't seem so foreign. Remember to search help articles http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/ and if you get stuck by all means ask your question here on the forum. Have fun with your program.

I'm trying to include buttons with links to pdfs so that my customers can download product datasheets. I'm linking buttons to pdfs without any trouble but when I preview the website, the links don't work. Is there a particular location where downloadable files have to be stored for the links to work?
