Convert "&" within url's to "&" -...

My website has hundreds of links to another website where the URL contains one or more ampersand characters. Another example are the Google Map (non-shortened) URLs.

When I run the W3C Markup Validation Service on those pages, it reports the "&" characters in these URLs as a problem.

That said, the links appear to work just fine from my website.

My question is whether there is a "search / replace" technique I could use within VSD to update all those links?

Other than these (originally) manually coded addresses, the VSD html validates without any errors.

Hate to say it, but I don't see a way. Other than go through link by link and changing them. You might open a support ticket and ask the cc guru's if there is a way, but I think it's just going to be a long, long day ...:(

Maybe someone else will jump in with a solution ... frankly I don't think I'd worry about it

If it's hurting your sites ranking or it bothers you a lot then change it. Otherwise I'm with Gunsmoke leave them there.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Okay, thanks. I wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking some method. It doesn't appear to be influencing the site rank. It just aggravates the OCD side of me! :)

Open the page in Word or similar maybe the editor can do it and use search and replace. Fix the pages but you will not be able to load back in VSD

Use CC sitemapper program to make a site map

At the end it gives you a list of any errors it finds, which google are likely to balk at
Started using CC VSD in January 2009, I don't do HTML code, Sales from CC site exceeding expectations taken me out of semi-retirement
