Actually now I think about it programs have to be programmed not to allow another instance. It is something that has always been. Name the executable me.abc and it will run.
The code tells the operating system it is a program not the name. A Rose by any other name. :) I think that is appropriate considering what a lovely program it is.
The name does not effect the programs characteristics at all, It is the same in all respects. Only sufficient Ram will be the decider of any problems and as two of the same programs share the same support etc it may slow the operation.

I do thank you John I absolutely forgot that, It is a useful procedure in some circumstances
