I get this msg when trying to save.
I make a duplicate page and make sure "front page" isnt checked in the
"page" properties.

Go back to my front page and delete each item 1 by 1 to see if the error is cleared. I deleted everything on the front page. Still wouldnt save, Made the page larger then clicked select all and there were no items that i missed. Page would still not save.

Anyone have any ideas. Love your software, hate this problem.

Thanks
Joe

Hey Joe!

It's good to hear you like our software!

Unfortunately, we will have to know exactly which version you are using. Could you please give us the exact version you are using as well as the operating system?

If you could send us a screenshot of the error message that would also help out a lot! :)

Regards,

Lamin

OS is WinXP, using ver 6.0 build 6
Cant get a screen shot since I lost my work when I had to
instances of CC open. When I closed one instance it closed
the other.

I really dont like when that happens : )

I have the same problem. Mine was solved when I used File - Save As command instead of the "save" icon. Extra couple of steps, but at least it works.

This problem happened to us for the first time when we upgraded to the new version we had no problems before the upgrade. Since the upgrade we have had many problems. I use windows vista and VSD from Coffee Cup

I'm having the same problem. I bought the software this morning and spent all morning creating a home page and an about page. I can't save either pages using either the 'save' or 'save as' functions. I'm using version 6 of Coffee Cup. I don't want to lose my work - but nor do I want to delete, one by one, everything that I've placed so carefully on these pages so that I can discover where the error has occurred. Having read the other comments it looks like a bug - BIG bug:(

Hi Leah,
Are you using a Template?
What is your operating system?
Are you getting an error?

I am using Vista 64 and I get the same problem. I do get around it by using Save As in the File.

This has been my experience as well. I have run into this problem two or three times now and never had this problem before the new version, even on a 64 bit system.
