Hi There,
I have a lot of images on my site and they look ok when I initially upload them from my computer.
Then for no reason occasionally some of them appear blurry. If the same image is on more than one page, they are all blurry. I re-do the image on one page, publish, and then they are all ok again.
Can I do something to prevent this? Do I have to be careful not to overlap the images with a text box.. I try not to do that.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Joolya

Hi joolya,
Can you share a link to a page that has a blurry image?

I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

If they're JPG images, they will degrade some every time they're saved. If you're doing a lot of work on your site – and saving often – you could wait til you're ready to upload then replace the problem images with a fresh insert from the original file (no copy/paste). Also, don't use VSD to size your images, determine the size you need and use an image editing program to get your pictures web-ready.
If some of these images are used as graphic elements (icons, bullets, logos etc... rather than photos), you could try saving them as PNG files. Although with PNGs, it's best to create the sizes you'll need outside of VSD because they can look pixelated if you copy and then resize within the program.
As Eric requested, a link could be helpful to find out what's happening.

I agree with paintbrush. If you require a higher resolution, you can always ftp them up to the website.
