There was talk of it not performing with the new Adobe flash viewer or something. I have the latest and it works ok. What's the buzz about that?. CC stopped supporting it apparently.\

Prism, Adobe took care of that a while ago, all should be fine now.
The one thing to be aware of though – Not all smart phones and mobile devices support Flash (Apple products, for instance). So some people won't see your Flash elements.
If your market is mainly lap-tops/PCs, it might be OK. But keep in mind more and more people are cruising the web on phones and tablets (hence the need for a non-Flash Form Builder).

Per, it's been awhile since I used Firestarter, but I seemed to remember it was a bit different from the other Flash programs. Glad I decided to check it before I said "just use the Flash too!".

Anyway, have fun experimenting with it – it's a nice program (d@mn Apple!).

I have a new application too now "Giotto" I have found I can create a movie swf and use a standard html file and change the settings size etc. add the file and I can achieve some spectacular effects out of the realm of Firestarter. Even PHP can be used if I add the right statement to the .htaccess file.
Overall I am very pleased with VSD. I would like to open the page with a control in the program. I had to resort to make a program resident to use a hot key to compensate. If I tidy it up I will make it available.

For what it is worth I said I would let others use the utility I do now. It is simple and loads a set page in the default browser at a touch of a button.
The install file is here http://inkmon.org/assets/OpenInstall.exe It does have an uninstaller. It is simple. It is what I use to test the page I am working on in VSD in the default browser.

Can it be improved? Of course. Will it. Probably not.

VSD has a built-in preview with choices for browsers... What exactly does this do? Is it just to be able to test PHP?

The preview lets you test a copy of your site from the temp folder. I wanted to preview online but VSD only allows that for S_Drive thus I created the simple program OpenPage.exe. Maybe VSD will be upgraded to allow it maybe not.

I did not go for the hot key, was not necessary. If you want to beta it and make suggestions I have a contact form on my site

It is pretty simple you set the url which is saved and when you press open, the page set, opens in the default browser whether the browser is loaded or not. I am also using it to extract a zipped form folder and form.php. I use a simple php script <?php system('unzip Form.zip'); ?> which is in the root folder. use add files same as with the zip file. gets uploaded, then just browse http://yoursite/Unzip.php a name to give the script. My open page can call it.
I may pretty the program up a bit for my use. Get that program by tomorrow night last chance. I enjoy creating utilities it is a hobby as is painting plus a heap of others.

I don't usually advertise my utilities but in this case it makes VSD just that easier to use. I only wish I was a better web page designer. There is nothing VSD cannot do so far. Still putting it through its paces.

If you are into it Autohotkey can just about make any program tick, even operate sets of buttons on a key press. You can even hover virtual buttons over the tool bar to add more controls and abilities. The language was designed for the gaming crowd to give gamers an edge at their online games. It does not detract however from the brilliance of programs like this. my largest program is about 500kb imagine the work in a program 10 times as large. Could I create a VSD, yes. Would I, no been done and there is only one of me plus it would take to long and at 69 I am passed it.

I did make a auto web page maker for my Son for the click through trade. 100's of pages with random content in seconds.

So Paintbrush get the file you will be sorry you didn't, it is my Christmas present for the VSD community

Guess I should have a look, might make it easier to understand just what this is (never heard of Autohotkey). I down-loaded it already, now I'm really curious.
