I've checked all the usual suspects listed on the 3-part error message (firewall, ftp n server settings), re-synced, re-booted, begged, etc...but won't publish. Any ideas from any fine folks out there? Thanks in advance, Laurie.

To rule out host settings issues, have you tried publishing to your free S-Drive account from VSD?

If your site previews properly in VSD when you view it in your default browser, then that proves that the file structure is OK and the only other issue can be publishing related.

If you choose S-Drive and enter your e-mail and password as the user details in VSD publishing you will be able to publish it without further server settings. Then, if that works, you know that the issue is with the FTP setting you entered for your host in the publish settings within VSD.

Or your web host has a problem. Who are you hosting with anyway? I have heard that some of the web hosting companies have moved on from FTP to SFTP.
