Is there a website counter on VSD or do you have to get one from another site and add it on.

You would need to use an outside service, which there are many of. Use the "Search Forums" button above and search for "hit counters", or similar terms. You'll see that this has been discussed before.

I used this site because it was the simplest to implement:

http://www.website-hit-counters.com/

But after a month the counter stopped working, so maybe avoid that particular one?

Try this link:

Just copy and paste the HIT counter code in using the HTML tool with VSD--

I have used, and loved, statcounter.com, however spyware software that you buy to protect your computer often delete the cookies that it uses to keep track of sites. Many spyware softwares delete WAY more than what they need to in order to keep your computer healthy. They figure the more things you see getting deleted, the more you feel you are being protected by their software; but so much of it is a sham. For example when I run Spyware Doctor (a program that I really do think is useful) it tells me it's deleting, for example, 188 "infections", but many of these are just cookies! Innocent little cookies! Of course some really are bad and need to be deleted which is why I do use and recommend the software lol!
