I am so fed up with reading reviews of web hosts that contradict the last one, lots of people raved about www.ipage.com now i have read so many bad reviews saying there so so slow and a rip off fro adding many extra stealth charges on your account.
can any body recommend a good host that can hold a busy-ish website, i dont mind paying alittle extra but they have to have great customer support and have a very high up time and descent page loading times.:(
thanks any help would be great ;)

Just my two cents. While speed and other stuff is important go with a large reputable host. I used to have a "good' host with good speed etc but they went bankrupt all of a sudden. I lost the website and my domain that I had registered with them. Luckily it expired later and I was able to repurchase it from my current web host. there is nothing more frustrating than that, believe me.

Good point. Anybody with $20 a month can be a "Professional" host on a reseller or VPS plan. You know those "Professional" guys who ask for help in the Ambassador forums when something goes wrong.

Always register your own domain. It's your brand, protect it.
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

I gave you 3 good hosts below. I use Namecheap as my domain registrar. They are reasonable and have a good control panel.
