Hello, Im about to become a new Coffee Cup user. I had a couple questions. Im interested in the software included in the WebStarter package but I wanted to try them out first. As well as add shopping cart to this. Are the trial version of these programs going to aollow me all the features of the full versions, can I upload my site created using trial versions to the web for all to see? and when I purchase the full versions do I need to make any changes to switch from trial to full paid versions or will these happen automatcially?
Thanks
Thanks
All of our trial versions are 100% fully functional with no limitations. They only thing the trial does is expire after so many days. If you have any issues the trial version, don't assume the registered version will fix it.
After you purchase the software, just download the registered version of the program and that is it.

All right perfect. Thanks Scott
I'm using CoffeeCup Free HTML Editor. Can I install the trial version and, after the trial period, will I be able to uninstal the trial version and switch back to the Free version?
I'm sure you can Rodrigo, but the question is, why would you want to do that? If you have the paid version then you should use that version since you'd have more features available.
If you do have a reason for using the free version, then the answer is yes, you can go to the Free version, but not the Trial version if the trial period is over. The Free version and the Trial version are not the same thing.

Thanks Jo Ann.
The main reason to test the Trial Version is that I want to use the Css Menu Designer. But if I don't like it, I think there wouldn't be a greater reason to buy it. So I would continue using the free version.

Hiya Rodrigo,
I understand the need to want to try it out with the Trial version, that's a very smart thing to do, I guess I was wondering though why you would go back to the Free version after you purchased the registered version. Definitely do the Trial version though and make sure before you purchase it to be sure you want to buy it

I downloaded the trial version but it fails on install. I run Windows 7 and the temp file has app failure.

Try Right clicking on the shortcut of the installation file and choosing properties. Then choose Run as Administrator from the menu and you should be able to install it without any problems then. This is known issues with Windows 7 which tends to be a bit "too" strict with it's protection a billion times over lol. Let us know if that doesn't fix the issue.
Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
