I started a site (abbreviated for now - just put up the home page) using the HTML editor and the Ecologic Theme. In the product descriptions of the shopping cart (standard and pro), this theme is available for the shopping cart. However, it is not showing up among the choices for the store. Do I have to buy the software to get it? I don't want to be redoing the appearance later if I do buy expecially since I did start to modify some components like photos, logo, etc. Can I import/copy the ecologic theme from the html editor? How?
Also, there was mention of 5 pages for the store - is this for the store component only? I assume that the store is linked to the "Store Home" tab of the "regular" website ... But one can have more than 5 pages there.

Themes and web page limits?
Hiya Linda,
Themes are not edited in the Shopping Cart Creator programs, but in the Shopping Cart Designer programs. If a theme says it's also available for another program, that usually means it's for sale in the Themes page of CoffeeCup's website by going to the top menu and hovering over Store, then choosing the Themes section you are interested in.
If you check out the Shopping Cart Creator and it's not there, Check the Designer and see if it is there. Most likely if not, then you'll need to purchase the theme from the CC store.
As for the HTML website versus the Shopping Cart Creator store, they are totally separate entities. What you can do, and the only way to integrate them, is to edit your HTML website menu to add a button/link to the Shop Home, and then in the Shopping Cart Creator programs you go into the Shop Tools and edit the settings for the home page to point to the URL of your HTML index page. Although they are not connected as in all in one site, they are connected enough then to be fairly easy to get back and forth. The only real difference is the menus will be a bit different as the store will have all the shop items on it. You can add all the shop items to your HTML website menu if you like to try to mimic the menu, that's up to you.
The 5 pages for the store means you can create up to 5 other pages to add to your shop within the Shopping Cart Creator programs. This basically means that unless you really need more pages than that you really don't have to create an external website in HTML at all. Only need to do that if you have a lot more pages you need to add to the site/shop setup.
Hope that helps
