Seeking text formatting software
I need a package to easily format text into columns, blocks or whatever. Photoshop allows me to layout my page in pixels, but the text layout features are lousy. MS Publisher is much better but the page layout is in inches - no better. Your recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks.
What are you going to use it for? Websites?
CoffeeCup provides software for web design. Since I don't know your level of coding skills, I would probably say that RSD (Responsive Site Designer) must be what you need. You can place your columns or blocks into the grid system and have it formattet either with px or em, and with the comparatively new flex system you can position the text at your heart's delight.
If indeed you are a coder, you might prefer HTML Editor. With html and css you can acieve the same results as you can in RSD.

Is this dynamic data? How much data are we looking at? A html table may be the correct way for this segment of your project.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

An HTML table indeed. My web site was put together with the HTML Editor and I didn't know such a thing as an HTML table existed - thank you Eric. It looks like a solution.

Remember html tables are for data type needs, not for a webpage layout. I use html tables a lot for one of my sites but I'm returning dynamic tubular data that is easier to view as a table and it's a part of the page not the entire thing. There's a few scripts out there to make your tables responsive if needed.
