The login wouldn't except the user name and password that's listed on peters page.
peters trying to use VSD with Password Wizard so he'll have to use my work around to force users through the login and still secure the page that he want's to hide.

Peter are you sure you have the right username and password provided?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I didn't see any username or password on that page, that is why I'm asking.

He's making changes.
Peter. It appears that you have entered the same url that the login box is at into the page your protecting url in Password Wizard. If I enter prl for user name and password it excepts them but I stay on the page.
Make sure you have the url to the page that you want hidden entered into Password Wizard.

Hi Eric and Inger
Sorry to make all this wawes.

No it does'nt work in preview on my PC

Yes i made changes in a way, I just started over again to make sure that i did'nt miss anything acording to Eric's link to S-drive and that's why i forgot to put on the username and password like you did eric.
Yes it's "prl" in both places

I attach a zipped file with the code for the login box and the two generated files from CCPW.

If you want I can put the hole project on dropbox, I just need a adress to mail the link to.

I'm very impressed that you guys are doing this to help me.

I need the protection to a homepage for genealogy research of my family in US, and whitout protection - no one will give me information. After all it's rather personal info.

Thanks for trying
Peter

Peter - not to (completely) hijack your thread, but have you seen TNG (The Next Generation) for geneology? I was using it for a while, until life interrupted me yet again. It will import from practically any source. And most importantly, for me, was that it has a SUPER easy web set-up (with security built-in). I don't know IF you would want to look into it or not, but it might be an option for you.
