Hello,

I am a teacher and use VSD for websites for my students.

I am now trying to build an advising form for students to use.

I have downloaded and installed the trial version of Web Form Builder lite. We have three major areas that students need to take classes in: Humanities, Social Sciences, and Natural Sciences. They need to take three classes in each area.

What I would like to do is set up a form where I have all the available classes in each area listed in drop down menus. Then they select the classes they have taken or leave the area at a default setting if they haven't taken a class in that area yet.

At the end of the form I would like to provide a summary of what they have taken and what areas they still need to take classes in.

I see how to put together the drop down menus, but I'm not sure how to collect the info and put together the summaries.

Do you have any advice for me?

Thanks

I would use a mysql database to store the classes already taken. Then you can use jQuery dependent dropdowns to show the appropriate classes.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.
