In which forum should I post a couple of websites that I'd like to use as prototypes, to get expert feedback on the feasibility of writing it in CoffeeCup? Please advise.

I need it fast, high quality, and inexpensive, but I don't want to use any built in tools from a hosting company and I don't want a template look.

Where do I start?

Do you know how to code HTML by hand, or are you going to need a WYSIWYG program?:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

I do not know HTML, or anything else, nor do I have time to learn anything. I think I need a professional coder with design skills to emulate a couple of websites, then use CC to make minor updates, like adding content. Does this make sense?

Does CC also do WYSIWYG?

Can I show these websites around to folks here?

Hiya mcdon,

CC has a great visual editor in Visual Site Desginer. Sounds like that might be the way to go for you. If you're looking for someone else to do it for you though feel free to contact me through the LB Websites link in my signature and we'll see what we can do to give you a good quote for your sites. Be sure to send the links in the message for us to take a look at if you opt to do this.

Either way good luck on it and if you do decide to do it yourself, give the trial version of VSD a spin. It's a fully functional visual editor with the capabilities to add HTML, Javascripts and such via tools within the program so it's pretty nice for those without coding experience, and some that do have experience with coding use it too so trial it and see what you think :)

Jo Ann I think you need to change your avatar back, before you frighten a prospective new client off

VSD is quick and esy to learn (NO CODE REQUIRED) but it still takes a lot of time playing.

And you can't import an html website into VSD, so you might want a WYSIWYG site to start with if you want to paste your content in afterwards with VSD (hint hint Jo Ann) I see a bit of team work here, got some spare time during my 3 month holiday :)
Started using CC VSD in January 2009, I don't do HTML code, Sales from CC site exceeding expectations taken me out of semi-retirement
