I'm just starting this site and want to be sure I can run wmv files or other videos before going any further.
I converted a short wmv file to fl and uploaded all of the files related to it to www.chetforce.com
I put all files in the same folder as the "default.aspx" . I'm getting the "x". Can you look at the site source and determine what I'm doing wrong here. Any help would be appreciated.

I get an error clicking on the flv.
The redirect makes me think this is spam.

I think the video conversion must have gone wrong. It looks as if everything else is in its right location.
I tried downloading just the video file to play it here locally, but it wouldn't play.
Something else: You have something on your webpage that makes it load VERY slowly.

Thamks for looking. No spam that I am aware of. The site was generated using VWD 2010, ( windows visual web developer). Which I am a newby and still trying to find my confort zone. I just took a wmv clip 2 minute video to see if I could make it work.
I'm also a begginning code reader and still lack the skills to make judgements. I am going to go through the steps real slow again and see if I can determine what's happening.
Thank you for your efforts.
ps. I will clean up the website from junk thats out there from experimenting. That may speed it up.
Thanks again.

Hi again, you ought to have a chat with your hosting provider about their redirect page. I tried various urls to check if your files were present on the server, and I mistyped once or twice and got a 'file not found' page that has a redirect to some completely different site. That is what may be taken for spam.

The redirect may not be to a completely different site, - if you take a bit of a closer look.
Me thinks Eric's suspicions may be justified...
I didn't look closely enough... But if Eric is right, all the more reason for Chet to have a chat with his hosting provider. Maybe even change the provider.

If you look at www.chetforce.com now, you will see whats left.
I've thought of changing host. I will submit a ticket on why the re-direct but after I reload the website. I've cleaned it to bare bones only leaving what I wasn;t sure of deleting. I will upload tomorrow.
again thanks for looking.
