I'm running 32 bit Vista with Safari, and have twice just tried to download an evaluation copy of HTML editor.
The following error has appeared on both occasions,
GLBD398.tmp.badimage
which is sitting in file : Appdata/local/temp/propsys.dll on C drive.
The error message says.. file ending 'propsys.dll is either not designed to run on Windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator - ie me - or the software vendor for support.
The error message is refreshing continuously, - and won't be closed, so I'll have to now try reboot to get rid of the b-thing
I'd appreciate your help
Thanks a lot
Mary
Installation error
Mary, sorry you are having problems. If what I suggest here doesn't work for you then please go to the Support section and open a ticket. That way a CoffeeCup technician can try and help you. We are simple users here and just do the best we can. I assure you the editor will work under windows vista, though you may have to install and run as 'Administrator'.
That said, propsys.dll is part of windows, not the HTML editor. You can try this for a solution.

Make sure you read the instructions under 'How to install propsys.dll' There is a lot of information in there. They have a fixer you can download and use, you don't need to buy or upgrade if you don't want to. Or you can just download the .zip file and install it yourself. All the instructions are there. Please make a backup of your propsys.dll before you do this, just in case...
Again, if that doesn't do it then please open a support ticket and someone will assist you.

If you use this link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936212 it will give you instructions on how to run windows system file checker, and that should fix your propsys.dll
