I am curious, you shopping cart builder looks great. My question is do you support affiliates? I would like to pay commissions to people who send traffic to my store. Is this feature available with your software?

Sorry Danny,

That's not a feature of the software. Not sure that will be added, but it's not a bad idea so maybe the team will see your post and think on it. It's not a feature at this time though.

I don't know why software vendor like this would not want to have it. That is a very important feature for most people. I would think it is a given in today's world.. I know when i searched i found a post from a few years ago that said we won't add it. So others want it also.

The problem is that I am working with 3 vendors who use the coffee cup shopping cart. Basically, I am going to have to purchase another solution so that I can achieve this. I was just thinking coffee cup would like to quit losing subscribers over simple small features.

Most affiliate programs give you a simple JavaScript to add to your page. You could add that to the markup very easily to the software.

I believe you are thinking of outbound links, not inbound. I need to track if someone clicked into my store and made a purchase.

I can track easily that someone clicked into my store, but I don't have a good record of whether or not that click made a purchase.

Wouldn't that fill you up with a lot of random data.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.

I am describing this incorrectly? What I want to do is pay a commission to the person who refers the sale to my site.

Thanks Eric, on the scripts that you put a link to. How would one modify the coffee cup software to handle whether or not the link generated a sale?

You don't. You will need an outside source to shorten the links and keep track of them. You can use the editor to embed the links with an image so the user you give the links to don't have just text.
