I would like any possible help in incorporating Image Mapped output into WordPress.

Welcome to the forums
This CC page explains the process for inserting the image map into a webpage. It shows an example of the code snippets:

HTML – goes in the page body
Javascripts – goes in the page footer
Img Map Files Folder – upload to same folder the webpage is in.

I'm not a WP user, but I think there may be a few members around here familiar with it that would know what to put where.

If there's a forum for your particular theme, you could ask there for help with inserting non-WP code.
