Can anything Coffeecup have created (software) allow me to do this.
I have Site designer and the html editor amongst other from their arsenal.
Does anyone have a template or module already written.
Also it would need to be WYSIWYG. FCKEditor potential would be good.
If it has to use SQL that's OK too.
Also, I host all my own work. Not interested in S drive.
I am not interested in remote hosting peered by any other operation so it has to be allowed functionality within my own servers mainly because of sensitive information.
Any feedback would be good.
For those who HAVE established this basic technology online I need it to fit 100% the width of the screen.
Many of us here are sick to death of facebooks idea of the middle third only being used on screens attached to PC's and in the professional graphic spheres we do NOT live on our 4 inch phones in the design world.
There used to be a guy who wrote PPP Blog. He used a flat file system that was incredible but the sourceforge download only holds the PPP and NOT the FCKEditor so that seems to have died and running an international based project to revive it isn't an option even though we have tried to contact the original author.
TOO MANY of the downloadable blogs today almost by 99% are fixed width, normally that irritating middle third of the screen, and have massive graphics like some childs storybook as if the viewer doesn't know how to read or stay attentive after five single syllabled words.
While they can be edited this involves much time and effort in what otherwise and frequently is an encrypted sealed system of ridiculous complexity.
Flat file systems really work but are not exploited these days and wordpress and all the other nasty
"We'll host it for you...……. as long as you stick to OUR rules and do as WE say..."
blogs are a tedium we are really trying to avoid and breed OUT of the system.
If anyone is familiar with the freedoms PPPBlog gave then you'll appreciate where we're coming from.
Many thanks in advance...… maybe!
