Hello!

I currently have a website hosted with godaddy.com and it was made entirely in HTML. I'm wondering if I can still open my site in the visual Coffee Cup program and edit it that way, instead of in HTML?

Hiya jwilliams,

I'm sorry there is no import function in the Visual Site Designer program at all. If you want to recreate the site in that program you'd need to start from scratch and do so. Otherwise, just use the HTML Editor and edit it since that's what it was created with.

One thing you can do... Go to your site online and copy/paste the images and text into new files/folders. Then start a new site in Visual Site Designer (VSD).
You'll probably need to re-create some graphics and/or backgrounds, but if you have the original image files, you're set to go.

Keep in mind, if your site is a few years old, this is a great opportunity to freshen it up – get rid of any out-dated stuff and add in some new functions and/or features. Change is good :D

I wonder if this is a " I HAVE A GODADDY built template site"

And actually the question should be, can i replicate it in VSD without the need to learn html etc.

If that is the case by any chance, the answer is its a nice easy program VSD to learn, NO html code required (but can be useful) just takes time and patience, and some help from CC forum, helpful bunch

OH and dont forget the FREE hosting for one website.

Guest forum is for guest to ask advice before buying Coffeecup programs, all the other sections are for those of us who own programs we bought from CC and need further assistance or tips for improvement of our projects using CC programs

Once you purchase a CoffeeCup program you'll get access to the other forums. The forums here are basically for paid program users. Viv already covered the guest forum, but you're always a guest until you make a program purchase at CoffeeCup.
