Okay, seeing as how I failed at anime styled drawing, I thought I'd look into 8 and 16 bit styled drawing.
I found this site a few minutes ago and Coffee Cup looks promising for making animations, however I'm tired of 'empty' promises. You know, you buy the whole 'new and easy to use' card on the box. But find out the User interface is a clusterF* that's complicated or just difficult to learn.

I don't plan on making anything amazing, just some fanmade Phoenix Wright stuff, like half of the stuff you'd find on Newgrounds, or more importantly youtube.

Have you tried the trial version as of yet? All of CoffeeCup's software has a trial period, some longer than others depending on the program, and most are full featured. Give it a whirl and see if it does what you need.
