General advice for a site.
Hi, I'm hoping to get some advice re a website.
I currently use Dreamweaver CC, but heard about Coffeecup. I'm hoping to build a site that is used for both content/articles and to sell products. But, I need a solution that is mobile/tablet friendly (i.e. responsive).
Re both store/content, I need something that is also good for SEO: title, meta desc, tags, etc. Also, the site needs to be 'light' and loads quickly (unlike typical CMS!).
Can you please recommend the right software for my needs?
Thanks.

Why not just take the HTML Editor for a trial run and see if all those features are there? I believe many if not most of them are, but the best way to be sure is to use the Trial version and be sure they are yourself.

Thanks Jo Ann, I missed that one!
Good to see there's already responsive themes in the CC marketplace (which are surprisingly cheap). Re the themes; I'm kinda confused at the ones marked shopping cart (under theme store). Are these to be used with the CC shopping software only? Or can I 'hack' in the html editor?
Update: anyone been able to create responsive themes easily with the html editor?
Thanks.

I've been building responsive sites in the HTML Editor for 4+ years. It's very user friendly. You can do whatever you want; start with a theme or template, use your favorite framework/grid, import a layout from CC's Responsive Layout Maker...
You should also check out CC Website Insite. It will give you lots of useful info about your site, from page weights to all sorts of SEO suggestions.

You're quite welcome Bubba, as for the themes, each software has their own theme setup so don't buy the ones for the Shopping Cart as those are used only with the Shopping Cart Designer and Creator programs. I wouldn't bother trying to hack them as it would probably be a lot more work than it is worth, and they aren't responsive yet anyways so you're probably not going to find them as useful as the Responsive themes for the HTML Editor. Enjoy the trial!

There are dozen of them out there, including few free cool HTML & CSS Editor.
if you know basic HTML5 and CSS3 coding by hand and want to learn responsive part I advice watch this two following video.

If you need a software to handle responsive part of your website I would say defiantly Coffeecup'S Responsive Layout Maker,
Again Responsive Layout Maker as it sound it's layout maker not website designer , If you need Responsive website designer we all waiting for it as it's still in oven and cooking on slow fire.
Again do download and test them out before you buy.
Guys at coffeecup are awesometacular.
Yeah, I'm leaning more towards the responsive package for both content/shop.
I'm sure it'll be great for just content, but for an online store? I can always embed third-party carts (Paypal, Ecwid, etc) into RLM. Not sure how I'd deal with basic store functions like: breadcrumbs, categories, etc?
