Isn't there an old version of HTML editor that also had a visual editor ?

I seem to remember trying it, failing and buying VSD instead

2010 had this feature , if you want to call it that. I would call it a creature instead.

Could be. I might be able to test this. I think I still have a site when I first jumped into the html editor.:) I'll do a little digging around on my desktop pc when I get home.

Ok - yes, using the HTML Editor... what I mean by 'dragging' is on the left hand side shows all of my files within my business folder. If there is a photo I need, or a banner, I 'drag' that file onto the HTML page that I'm working on.

Like dragging and dropping files on your computer. I drag and drop files into my iTunes folder, etc. all the time.

But I USED to be able to drag and drop into the page I'm working on - now it is not letting me do this in this program. It does not respond... page fades out and I have to close it.

I can't view in split screen, I can't view in preview mode to see if things look good. So it's either a corruption or a Windows update screwed things up - or I need to reload it. I just thought you might know what was going on off hand.

I will reload it Sunday when I have some time.

Thank you all
have a great day!

You should be able to drag and drop from the left hand side. I think a fresh install is a good idea.:)

Thanks for the drag/drop explanation :D – I had been using the insert image icon and browsing to the file.

If you don't have this, get it and give it ago:

Before you do another Editor download, run CCleaner, do a re-start then grab the Editor. It's good for finding and cleaning out things that could be causing conflicts.
