automatically adding name to each...

Is it possible to insert content from one text field (e.g. someone's name) at the beginning of a text box. I have designed a form with seven questions, which will be answered by about 100 people. The data in the spreadsheet is easily confused, when I eventually come to cut-n-past the data into a report. I'm looking for a way of uniquely identifying each client (name text field) when they fill out a text field (in the database), so I don't have to scroll to the top of the spreadsheet.

Is this making sense to anyone?

E.g.
Question: How many eggs did you eat this year?
Answer field: [John Smith] 1000 eggs, all emu

i.e. Can I add the [John Smith] identifier to each text field so that it's s always apparent who made that comment, regardless of where I might be in the spreadsheet?

Why not use their name as one of the columns then when each user fills out the form their name will be in the row for each of their submissions. This would be standard practice. Combining a text string with the other values makes it impossible to do complex sorting or filtering later on the table based on other values.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.
