Hello all,
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this and apologize if it is not.

What Search Engines do most recommend? I am indexed in Google with a verification code added to the Header on Index page. Would others ie. Bing, Yahoo etc.need a verification code than added to the header and on each page? What is the recommend way?
Thanks ,
Ray

Ray, This is from memory and from a long time ago so please forgive me if wrong information. I see that you have been waiting for awhile for a response and I believe that I can adequately respond. This is the way I believe i had done this in the past. Create site obtain google codes and upload to site and verify with with google for indexing and obtaining rankings with them as you say that you have done. Scan site with Coffee Cup's Sitemapper application. upload the sitemap file to the site and then go through the apps procedure for submitting sitemap to search engines. I believe that it submits to google, bing, and yahoo, it may submit to others but I'm fairly sure that it submits to the ones listed here. They scan the site and use the sitemap for indexing. Fellow forum members if my knowledge or advice needs editing please chime in.

Greg thank you for your info I appreciate.
I do have Sitemapper just looked at today it looks like the way to go. I will have to check a tutorial on it as I see I can pick a template so have to learn how to use it. With our other site I do use Google Webmaster Tools and added the new site to it also. Did not add a sitemap yet but the other one I did and it I believe is in xhml?? Ok I will look into further as time permits today. Once again thank you.
