Adding thank you page to Pay Pal -...

I have recently started using Google Analytics on my site, and one important thing I'd like to do is create a "goal". This is where you have a thank you page at the end of your paypal so when someone pays for an item they buy on the site it's recorded as a sucesss. GA needs a snippet of JavaScript putting on every page of your website (which I've already done). It then compiles statistics on how near site users are getting to this goal.

According to the GA website, my thank you/confirmation web page has to be separate from Pay Pal, but then linked to it. I've designed the page, but not linked it to the rest of my site so far. I don't want anyone except me to be able to stumble upon it from anywhere on the site it once it is uploaded, I only want it to come up if they have made a payment on Pay Pal.

I'll need to enter my page's URL into the Pay Pal once it is uploaded, and wonder how I will find out this URL unless it is linked from my site. Has anyone overcome this problem? Thanks in advance for any replies.
