I've just installed version 9.7 (after uninstalling 9.6) and I get the following message when I launch the program:


I've tried installing and running as administrator but this doesn't help. I can't access the build number as I just get the error message again.

I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium, Service Pack 1, 64 bit. The CPU is an Intel Core i5-2400. 4GB of RAM.

Also, I'm interested in buying the full version of this program and wanted to know if the license was for current version only or whether any future updates/upgrades are included.

Try removing it uninstal, and then download again with no other windows / programs open, and preferably via an ethernet cable

Nope, not really. It was downloaded via an ethernet connection. I may have had my email and browser open when I installed but can't quite remember.
In any case, I have downloaded the program again and installed as administrator with no other windows open (and a few background programs terminated as well) - no change. Still getting the error.

Try setting it to run as admin.
