Absolute Positioning

I need to use absolute positioning for images for a class assignment (or a z index). However, the problem is that when I use absolute, the images are all on top of each other rather than interspersed within the text as intended. How can I fix this? Thanks!

Samantha,
Have you given any thought to getting RLM?
