I am getting windows 7 to install on my 64-bit system (the 32 bit version). Has anyone had any problems running coffeecup software on this system. I have a hard time running CC software on my current 64-bit Vista. Purchasing in a couple days so if everyone could let me know their feedback that would be helpful. :)

I've not had any problems with Win7 (either 32-bit or 64-bit) and CC Software.

Great Phil, Thanks for the feedback, which software do you use. Most of my problems involve the smaller apps, live video, cam, flash, etc.

I am running Windows 7 64-bit. All of my Coffee Cup software installs and runs properly. I have had some weird issues with Windows 7 regarding web sites remembering my log-ins but that has nothing to do with CC Software and I assume it is security related in some way. I do believe there is another topic on this subject somewhere... you might want to look for it and see if there are any reports there. I do recall an announcement that CC Software is already Windows 7 compatible or compliant or capable... whatever. :D
I am using HTML Editor, LockBox, Photo Gallery, Visual Site Designer (for the kids), Web Form Builder, Web Video Player, Shopping Cart Creator, Shopping Cart Designer and Flash Website Search. My works in perpetual progress:

I've played around with them all... Don't know if I did enough on some to cause any problems though... I regularly use HTML Editor, Ad Producer, Direct FTP, Pix Converter, Form Builder, Rip and Burn, Color Schemer. Like I've said, I've loaded and played around with the others, just not in depth, but I don't expect I'd have any problems really.

Officially, all of our software is supported under Windows 7, XP, and Vista 32-bit. However, many of our users are able to use the software with Windows 64-bit or by running in Windows XP Compatibility Mode. Follow these steps to set this up:

1. Right-click the program .exe file and select Properties .
2. Click the Compatibility tab.
3. Select the Run this program in compatibility mode for checkbox and select Windows XP .
4. Click OK .

If you haven't purchased the software yet, we suggest downloading the trial version of the software to make sure it works as expected. :)

Well, I have had nothing but problems since installing windows 7. I am currently running it in XP mode, which is the only way it will run, and I am getting a strange error. The error is that although the program's internal FTP says its uploading to the site, it is actually not uploading anywhere. I go to check the file location and nothing is there. Or I try to overwrite an existing file, and when I check the old file is there. Anyone encountered this problem?

That sounds like more of a problem with the server settings. Are you sure you have filled everything out correctly? If you send in a support ticket with your FTP settings (or a test account), we'll be glad to test it for you.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
