Me here again! Still attempting to put a website up (Bring back fronpage). www.robcharles.com. I have managed to get the picture now to show but now my problem is the background from the theme Modern Chic web page. No back ground just the text & the Picture.
Rob, the web page is looking for your CSS file in a subdirectory called css when the CSS file is in the root directory with your html.
CoffeeCup... Yeah, they are the best!

I highly recommend you setup a website project for this. All of your problems stem from you not uploading the files to the correct locations on your server. If you used a project, you would not have any of these issues.
As the Joker said, your CSS is not actually on your server in the location you are specifying. You say it is here http://www.robcharles.com/css/default.css but it is actually at http://www.robcharles.com/default.css

A website project uploaded files over FTP. Actually to be more percise, every application we sell, in one way or another, uploads files using FTP. Saying you will be using Free FTP really is just adding an additional step to the process. This is exactly why you are having all these problems.
