Which tool should I use? - Post ID...
Which tool should I use. The company sells a lot of different ones, and has some for free.
So, which one is best for creating a rotating ad banner? I need to be able to insert a link to different sites( different banners). At the moment, i'm looking at maybe 10 banners, but that could increase or decrease.
Any suggestions?
I'm not a programmer. I can do HTML blindfolded, but JAVA or PHP or ASP are beyond my capability. Structured (or even spaghetti coded) languages are ok, but I have problems with Object-Oriented languages...no training...

Try Firestarter and see if you can do what you want with that. Should be possible if I have understood you correctly. I would check out both the 'Banner wizard' and the 'Standard movie' options.
Ha en riktig god dag!

I'd like to revive the original question 3+ years later. WIth Firestarter out of the question what program can I use to make a rotating banner ad? I thought I could use the CC Photo Gallery but when I adjust the settings to the size of the photos I would be using and turn off the audio, albums, play button and thumbnails the CC Photo Gallery seems to leave the space for them to be there and just hides them. Any thoughts?
CC is working on a new album for S-Drive. It's in testing mode right now.
Here's mine.

It's pretty simple right now but their working on a few bugs and adding more functionality.

I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

This looked familiar somehow, so I went back and looked at your previous posts. When you brought up the issue of "dead space" in the PG back in July of last year, I mentioned that you can drag the edges of the image area and/or the background to any position you want and thereby eliminate any "dead space".
Since it appears that this didn't work for you, I will add the following for clarity:
1. Use no theme
2. To enter the 'edit mode', where you can drag the edges to the positions you want, hold down 'Ctrl' and click anywhere in the grey area outside the image area.
Let us know if this helps you solve your issue!

This certainly solved my issue, I am grateful for your long term memory. I have struggled and re-struggled trying to get the solution. I was not aware of how to enter the Edit Mode. If it was mentioned I missed it. Thank you so much.
