Hello Everyone;

Small group of disabled vets need assistance.

We created a Web Site using GoDaddy's Tools - we soon ran into issues.

We decided that Coffee Cup would solve the majority of them. So we purchased the Package !

{ Everything }

Ok -So let the fun begin !!!!

Issue: We can't figure out which would be the best Template to begin with !!!!

Would someone please visit what we have and then recommend which Template we should use.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Best Wishes - SEADOG8278

Let me first ask: What is wrong with the site you have? To me it seems to work, I would perhaps have used a different background image (not so colourful), but that is my personal opinion, which you don't have to listen to. :)

Secondly: has any of your group coding skills, or want to learn? That is deciding for which programme you start with. Of Coffeecup's two site builders, VSD (Visual site designer), is drag and drop, the HTML Editor is code based. If you go for VSD, you will not be able to import what you have done but have to start from scratch. With the HTML Editor you can import everything from your existing site and build on it.

I can't make any recommendations as to templates as I always code my own sites. But I know that the templates are very adaptable, both in colour and layout. Someone else will have to give you further advice on that.

Good luck whichever way you go. And if you run into trouble with the CC programmes, just holler, and one of us will come to your assistance. :)

Thank You Ms. Inger

Our major complaint with our present solution is consistency.

Example: The buttons on the Home page appear to be two different sizes ?
Coding is identical ? Tech support has been unable to offer a solution.

Another consideration is the inability of using a style sheet for the 16 Counties.

If a new feature is to be added or modified it must be done on each individual page. You add the issue of coding inconsistency to that and we find ourselves recreating pages from scratch over and over again.

True, we are newbie's at this, but we feel that something isn't quite right. We feel that maturing any further with the coding issues to be a mistake.

Question: Are you aware of anyone that would be willing to create a template for us ?
We have the resources to compensate within reason.

Thank You for your quick response and valuable information.

Your smaller buttons have height and width declared in the html. The large ones don't.:)
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

If you want to go for coding (HTML Editor), I could help you with a template. But for VSD I'm not the right person. But Eric, who answered just above here, would probably be someone you could ask. :)

The trials of being a newbie - I completely missed the difference.

Now, we need to see how the code was changed ?

Thanks again.
